Today the Winter Olympics starts in PyeongChang, South Korea. The Olympics have always been a great opportunity to put in the center of the scene the sport, the real one, made of hard trainings and many sacrifices.
During the race the athletes adventure with the most varied winter sports and in the end are the best will triumph. While we all cheer for our national team and remain incantatati in the face of the great skill and ability of the athletes, this year the Olympic competition will also be remembered for the rapprochement between the two Koreas.
North Korea and South Korea will rot together as a single team at the opening ceremony, and all hope that this is a signal of détente after the escalation of the last few months when dictator Kim Jong UN launched dangerous ballistic missiles to Intimidate his alleged enemies.
But will the détente be true or just a façade? What do you think?
