Born in the United States, the fashion of silent reading parties is catching on in Italy and there are more and more clubs that offer one or more evenings without smartphones in the company of books and wonderful stories, combined with good food for a truly irresistible combination.
I personally like this fashion, and a lot, and I can’t wait to try it. We are always stimulated by television and the Internet and every now and then a break can be regenerating.
Books are the best company possible and often they can cure those wounds of the soul that we carry with us for a long time and risk changing us forever.
