The crisis in Ukraine began in 2014 with the invasion of Crimea by Russia and still continues today between clashes and continuous violations of the ceasefire agreements signed in Minsk.
Although it is now forgotten by the media, the crisis continues to reap casualties among civilians and in many villages close to the front life has become a nightmare. Many houses have been abandoned, many inhabitants have lost their lives in clashes and those who remain survive in miserable conditions without any access to basic services, without light, water and gas.
