In the face of the massacre this morning in the drafting of the newspaper Capital Gazette in Maryland, in the United States, I leave you with the ranking as each year by Reporters sans Frontières (RSF) on the degree of freedom enjoyed by the press in the various countries of the world.
A little reflection on how important freedom of the press and opinion is. Because the death of five people who were doing their job of disclosure and information must not die, and above all they must not die in vain. The climate that is being created has already registered threats and intimidation against various journalists and already 40 the information professionals who have lost their lives; there is absolute need for more protection.
