Yesterday two very similar attacks occurred in London and the Hague. Many have been wounded and all are frightened and in great shock after all they have seen, heard, experienced.
In those terrible moments the whole of Europe fell into a black hole made of fear and insecurity; terrorism was there again, among us, to frighten and upset what was supposed to be just a Friday of shopping and fun. Yesterday’s attacks made us realize that the Islamic State will never really be defeated even after the death of Al baghdadi and the heavy military defeats.
You can never let your guard down, the danger is and is between us. I have remembered the other images of the attacks that took place in Europe and I have understood that the objective is always the same, forcing us to change our habits and make us run away with trembling. We must not allow terrorists to win, we must go out with our heads held high.
