At the beginning they were typically British with the name of sandwich, then in 1927 they arrived in Italy thanks to a lady who at the coffee Mulassano in Turin gave the name of tramezzini and made them palatable to the Italian palate. And now the sandwiches are spread all over the world with interesting variations that draw their origins from the culture and history of each people.
