At the beginning they were typically British with the name of sandwich, then in 1927 they arrived in Italy thanks to a lady who at the coffee Mulassano in Turin gave the name of tramezzini and made them palatable to the Italian palate. And now the sandwiches are spread all over the world with interesting variations that draw their origins from the culture and history of each people.
A quick snack, a quick and tasty aperitif, an evening with friends… the sandwiches are really so popular that the restaurants that offer them in their menu are really many and there are always special and gourmet combinations that invite us to try them.
Everyone likes them and everyone considers them ideal for a quick and original meal, nutritious and able to tickle our taste buds. In Great Britain they eat them with tea, in Argentina they call them “tostado”, in Peru they call them “sándwich triple”, we in Italy prefer them as an aperitif or as a quick lunch and in all the countries of the world there are tasty variations.
