Speakeasy, mysterious places

Speakeasies, hidden and mysterious places where you can only enter thanks to a password.

It feels like we returned to the United States during Prohibition, when drinking alcohol was prohibited and those who wanted to would gather in hidden, secret places away from prying eyes, often in basements and the back of establishments considered acceptable.

Even today, the appeal of speakeasies remains intact and this type of venue attracts more and more people for a particular evening, very chic and refined with an extra thrill of mystery.

This week I don’t want to write an article that’s too long but full of charm and mystery, because speakeasies are like that: good music, good food, so much elegance and refinement, and the allure of mystery that gives everyone that extra thrill. The beauty of these places is just going to look for them in the most unexpected places and looking for the secret password.

These venues have now entered our daily lives, and we sometimes enjoy a special evening, a little mysterious and full of charm, but after all, going out fully dressed in a very chic and refined way and discovering new and hidden places can be a surprising idea. It can make us experience unique emotions. And speakeasies are great for enjoying good wine and good food but also for immersing ourselves in Prohibition culture and maybe even for reading a good book while listening to great live music.

And now I’ll leave you an article I found online that lists all the major and most famous Italian speakeasies. They’re all worth trying, and they seem to be made specifically for those of us who are passionate about art and culture.
