Again this year this blog stops for two weeks, vacations that serve to regenerate and reason about everything we have done so far and bring clarity within ourselves.
I think after a long year of work, it’s more than right to stop and take a breather to start over better than before in the fall, but I’ll try to keep you company in August too, I promise.
With the high temperatures these days, you feel tired and nervous, you even hate summer, and so making a stop is more than necessary to return in style when the great heat has (finally) passed and we have more time and desire to read and dedicate ourselves to art and culture.
Art and culture, exhibitions and museums should be savored calmly, leaving plenty of time to reflect and think, and you can’t do everything in a hurry because it’s too hot, we have to leave and pack our bags, do the last shopping, and so on. On holiday, however, we can discover new and surprising places and often discover real treasures among ancient villages, museums, art exhibitions and vernissages, book presentations, traditions that are lost in the mists of time.
That said, I hope your holidays are calm and relaxing spent with loved ones and those closest to you, and I’m sure they will be full of excitement and discovery in unique and wonderful places.
In the meantime, I’ll leave you a roundup of summer books that will keep you company on the beach, in the mountains, in an art city….
Happy holidays everyone, see you soon!!!!!
