War of nerves on Syria

In the night the United States attacked with 59 missiles the Syrian base from where would leave the deadly nerve gas attack that claimed more than 80 civilians, including many women with their children, in the town of Idlib. This is the first attack in Syria and arrived at Trump Administration just hours after the United States Ambassador to the United Nations had threatened unilateral action to avenge all civilian casualties if the Organization of New York had not firmly condemned the attack of Idlib and took serious action.
To the US administration the culprit of the atrocious attack with chemical weapons long banned by international agreements is Bashar Al Assad’s regime, guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity against his own people that was supposed to protect. Trump at first had said that Assad’s removal from power once the war was over was not a priority but the attack on Tuesday and photos of young children dying due to toxic gas has deeply touched and therefore its position against the Syrian dictator has radically changed: now Assad is a criminal who should be removed as soon as possible to avoid new disasters.
The U.S. unilateral action has reopened old fissures in relations between the United States and Russia: Putin condemned the U.S. attack as a serious crime and a real aggression against a sovereign State. The Russian Government has called for an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council and proposed punitive measures against the United States for serious violations of international law. The Syrian Government said he was deeply shocked by the incident and called the U.S. action as a betrayal that help the Islamic State instead of fighting it.
Cheers to Trump arrive from London who immediately decided to support the United States if and when there will be a real military campaign in Syria, from Israel and also from Turkey, who think this way to prevent the creation of an independent Kurdish State.
The military action of this night has profoundly altered the geopolitics of that area of the world very delicate that is the Middle East and most likely will also modify the fragile alliances that until recently existed in Syria in the fight against international terrorism.
