At the Rome Film Festival was presented the short film “Killed Waiting for judgement” strongly wanted by the association Doppia Difesa led by Michelle Hunziker and Giulia Bongiorno. This short but very powerful film warns women from those sick loves that transform life into a nightmare of violence and even serious persecution.
The Double Defense Foundation is going to present a bill called ‘ Red Code ‘, absolute priority. A woman who threatens life cannot be a practice put on the desk waiting for someone to open it, said Giulia Bongiorno.
The campaign “Waiting for you threatens life ever more women who die waiting for justice” wants to be a warning also for the judicial authorities, because when a woman denounces there is no time for the hesitation and for the long times of the courts, you have to act immediately. Many, too many women have lost their lives pending judgement and this today, in 2017, is unacceptable.
Good work at the Doppia Difesa Association, keep it up, because no woman must ever feel in danger.
