The train derailed yesterday in the small town of Pioltello, near to the city of Milan, has rekindled the controversy about the poor safety and poor maintenance of the railway lines dedicated to commuters, all those people who move every day by train to reach the their jobs and study.
Old and dirty trains, doors that do not open and do not close well, carriages that flood every time it rains, delays… are just some of the many hardships that commuters have to endure every day. I myself have commuted for so many years and still now every so often I use the train for my travels and I have experienced firsthand a whole series of disservices.
In yesterday’s accident they lost their lives three women who went to work and some wounded are still struggling for life in the hospital: to them and their families a prayer and a strong hug.
If you have also done or commute tell your adventures and misadventures in the comments.
