Finally the French government gave a first support to the freedom of the press, a support that certainly will make all the journalists safer.
In the world yet, too many journalists die to simply do their job, to inform and let everyone know what is happening in the world. Unscrupulous wars and dictators are currently the worst enemies of journalists who nonetheless seek in any case to do their job, because it is right that everyone is informed.
Information is a right, a right acquired with years of struggles and deaths, so we must never allow anyone to take away a fundamental thing like freedom of the press, association, expression.
From the government French came a first step and hopefully many will follow it because our freedom is at stake.
