In Africa, especially in the sub-Saharan area, the spending on armaments is a real rebus. Political instability, terrorism, armed groups, unscrupulous traffickers ensure that it is practically impossible to know where the weapons are going.
Small and large weapons, often very powerful, are lost in this way. They end up in the hands of the worst terrorists who use them for their insane purposes, to threaten and kill dozens of innocent victims. Unscrupulous warlords use weapons to keep their power with terror and fear; No one is excluded.
In Africa, political instability is a serious problem; Governments are too weak and so the evildoers of every species take advantage of it, terror is created. Too many weapons end up in the wrong hands and it is the civilian population who pay the highest price.
